The semi-final fixtures for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco have been confirmed, with Nigeria’s Flamingos set to face Brazil as they pursue a place in the final.
Both semi-finals will take place on Wednesday, November 4, at Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat. Japan will face defending champions North Korea in the opening fixture, while Nigeria will meet Brazil later in the day.
The Flamingos booked their place in the last four with a 1–0 quarter-final victory over Venezuela, while Brazil defeated China PR 2–1 to advance.
The semi-final presents Nigeria with an opportunity to reach the final of the competition for the first time. The team will need to overcome Brazil to move within one match of claiming its maiden title.
In the other semi-final, Japan will take on North Korea in an all-Asian encounter. Japan progressed after beating Ghana 1–0, while North Korea secured a 3–0 victory over the United States.
The winners of Wednesday’s matches will advance to the final on Saturday, November 7, while the losing teams will contest the third-place match on the same day. Both matches will also be played at Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
Nigeria previously finished third at the 2022 edition in India. The Flamingos will now aim to improve on that achievement by reaching their first final and challenging for the trophy.
