Nigerian content creator and streamer Peller has expressed excitement after former Anambra State governor Peter Obi appeared on a TikTok Live session, predicting that more high-profile personalities, including presidents, would eventually join the platform.
Obi appeared on the Emir Sirdam Show’s TikTok Live ahead of the 2027 general election, attracting a reaction from Peller, who welcomed the politician and praised him for participating in the session.
“Peter Obi, God bless you, sir. We’re so happy to have you on our TikTok o. Peter Obi, our colleague, I love you, sir,” Peller said.
The streamer also predicted that TikTok would increasingly attract prominent figures.
“Una go shock when everybody go come to TikTok. Even president go come,” he added.
Obi’s appearance highlights the growing use of social media platforms by political figures to engage with audiences, particularly younger Nigerians, ahead of the 2027 general election.
