Victor Osimhen’s transfer value has dropped again, with Transfermarkt reducing the Super Eagles striker’s market valuation from €75 million to €65 million.
The latest update marks a €10 million decline and leaves Osimhen with his lowest market value in four years.
Transfermarkt last valued the Nigerian forward at €65 million in June 2022 when he was still developing into one of Europe’s most feared strikers at Napoli.
Why Victor Osimhen’s Transfer Value Has Fallen
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September 2024 with a market value of €100 million. At the time, he became the most valuable player in Turkish Süper Lig history.
However, his valuation dropped after leaving one of Europe’s top five leagues. Transfermarkt later reduced his value to €70 million before increasing it back to €75 million following his permanent move to Galatasaray in July 2025.
The Turkish champions reportedly paid €75 million to secure the striker’s services from Napoli.
Transfermarkt maintained that valuation in May 2026. However, the platform has now reduced his market value to €65 million.
As a result, Osimhen’s current valuation sits €55 million below the career-high €120 million he reached during his successful spell at Napoli.
Osimhen Remains Turkish League’s Most Valuable Player
Despite the latest drop, Osimhen remains the most valuable player in the Turkish Süper Lig.
AC Milan forward Rafael Leão follows with a market value of €50 million. Dušan Vlahović is valued at €35 million, while Mohamed Salah has a valuation of €22 million.
These figures underline Osimhen’s status as one of the biggest stars currently playing in Turkish football.
Strong Form for Galatasaray
Although his market value has fallen, Osimhen continues to impress on the pitch.
The 27-year-old has scored six goals and provided two assists in just four league appearances for Galatasaray this season.
In addition, he attracted interest from several top European clubs during the summer transfer window.
However, an injury sustained in September disrupted his campaign. The setback ruled him out of Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League matches and Nigeria’s recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Nevertheless, the striker remains a key player for both club and country when fit.
What the Latest Victor Osimhen Transfer Value Means
The latest Victor Osimhen transfer value update highlights how market valuations can change due to factors beyond performances alone.
While injuries, league rankings and transfer circumstances can affect market value, Osimhen continues to deliver impressive numbers whenever he plays.
Despite the reduction to €65 million, the Nigerian international remains the highest-valued player in Turkey and one of Africa’s most sought-after forwards.
