Rivers United will visit Katsina United on Wednesday as both sides clash in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 2 fixture.
The Pride of Rivers will be aiming to return to winning ways after being held to a goalless draw by Ranchers Bees in their previous league outing.
Rivers United had to settle for a point in Kano despite dominating parts of the encounter.
They will now face a Katsina United side coming off a 2-1 victory over Doma United.
The hosts will be keen to build on that result when Rivers United arrive.
For Rivers United, the fixture presents an opportunity to add valuable points to their tally and maintain their push near the top end of the NPFL standings.
The Port Harcourt-based club have made a solid start to the campaign and will hope to convert their chances after the draw against Ranchers Bees.
Katsina United, however, will provide another test on home soil.
Both teams will be looking for maximum points when they meet in the rescheduled fixture.
