Abia Warriors forwards Ikoi Etta and Emeka Obioma have been named in the NPFL Matchday 6 Team of the Week.
The duo impressed during the latest round of fixtures in the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Othuke Egbo also made the cut as one of the three forwards in the selected XI.
Etta and Obioma played key roles in Abia Warriors’ performance during the weekend. Egbo also caught the eye with his display for his club.
The Matchday 6 team features players from several clubs across the league.
Izuchukwu Junior, Victor Samuel and Jonathan Okechukwu were selected in midfield.
Ochobi Elias, Peter Kuye, Chibueze Damian and Sugau Aliyu made up the defensive line.
Dede Dare was named in goal.
Emmanuel Deutsch was also picked as the Coach of the Week following his team’s performance during the matchday.
