The Executive Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Hon. James A. James, Esq., has been honoured as the Most Impactful Community-Focused Chairman of the Year at the LLAP Award 2026.
James received the award on Friday night, September 4, 2026, during an event held at the Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort, GRA, Port Harcourt.
The award, presented by the Homeland Awareness and Sensitization Initiative, recognised individuals and leaders considered to have made meaningful contributions to their communities.
The organisation said the recognition was in acknowledgment of James’ leadership approach, particularly his emphasis on community development, purposeful administration and service to the people of Opobo/Nkoro.
