‘I Think I Would Have Won’: Neche on BBNaija Exit

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Neche, has expressed confidence that she could have won the reality show had she remained in the competition, citing the overwhelming support she received from fans following her voluntary exit.

Neche made the revelation in an interview with Pulse, where she reflected on her experience in the house, her expectations during the competition, and the reception she received after leaving the show.

According to the reality star, she became convinced as early as the second week that she had what it took to emerge winner, although she acknowledged that such confidence was common among housemates.

“Honestly, at week two, I was convinced I could win the show, but, I mean, that was just every regular housemate’s conviction,” Neche said.

She explained that the level of support she discovered outside the house was far greater than she had anticipated.

“I was surprised as to what I saw outside, mind you. It was like times ten of what I expected… I thought to myself like, ‘I might not win, but I can get to the finals?’ So yeah, I think I would have won. Even now more so,” she added.

Neche voluntarily left the show, thereby forfeiting the opportunity to compete for the N160 million grand prize.

Speaking on her decision to leave, she attributed it to personal circumstances but said she preferred to keep the details private.

“I feel like there were personal circumstances and a lot of situations that led to my decision. The details I would like to keep private, but at the same time I’m very confident about my decision. I’m at peace with it,” she said.

On giving up the grand prize, Neche acknowledged the significance of the money, admitting that she had initially imagined herself staying in the competition for much longer.

Despite her exit, she maintained that the overwhelming public support she received has strengthened her belief that she had a strong chance of going all the way and possibly winning the seas
