Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has been announced as the headline performer for the halftime show of the NFL London game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.
The NFL confirmed the performance on Thursday, August 27, 2026. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The performance comes shortly after the release of Starr’s third studio album, Starrgirl, on August 14. The singer has also enjoyed a busy period in London, including a surprise appearance at a local venue and a performance at the All Points East festival.

Expressing her excitement, Ayra Starr said performing at the NFL halftime show was a “dream come true,” adding that London is one of her favourite cities and that she was looking forward to bringing Starrgirl to the global stage.
The NFL said her selection reflects London’s influence as a major international music hub and the growing global impact of African music.
Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment, described Ayra Starr as a “generational talent” with a strong connection to London audiences.
The league said it will work closely with the singer to create a performance that matches the scale of the occasion, with further production and broadcast details expected ahead of the game.
