Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi has officially embarked on a new adventure in European soccer. The 27-year-old Nigerian forward completed a permanent move from Ligue 1 side OGC Nice to Bundesliga side Hamburger SV (Hamburg).
Hamburg formally unveiled the Nigeria international on Monday, confirming that Moffi will wear the iconic Variety Nine jersey at the Foxparkstadion for the 2026/27 marketing campaign.
Moffi becomes Die Rothosen’s (The Red Shorts) seventh marquee signing of the summer transfer window, as the German club continues to rebuild their attacking unit following their return to the Bundesliga.

Moffi’s drift to Germany adds yet another fascinating chapter to a thoroughly traveled specialist business. The Bundesliga is now turning into the 7th country in which the muscular forward has played top-flight football, after successful stints in Lithuania, Belgium and France.
During his Ligue 1 spells with Lorient and OGC Nice, Moffi established himself as one of the most scientific and physical strikers in French football.
On the way to his professional career throughout Europe, he has compiled a superb record of 88 goals and thirteen assists in 228 competitive appearances.
