Super Falcons defender Jumoke Alani has formally secured her dream entry into European football. The talented 21 year old centre-back has completed a transfer to Turkish Women’s Football club Yüksekova Spor Kulubu.
Alani joins the Turkish squad from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) powerhouses Nasarawa Amazons, putting pen to paper on a one-year contract for the upcoming campaign.
The flow marks another rather huge milestone for Nigerian girls soccer, as another top domestic specialty makes the leap to European league opposition.

Alani’s move to Europe is a direct result of her outstanding domestic league consistency. Prior to joining the Nasarawa Amazons, she spent an accomplished season with Edo Queens, developing a popularity as one of the most crucial female defenders in West Africa.
Her defense presentations peaked at some point in the 2025/2026 marketing campaign, in which her positioning, aerial dominance and composure under stress earned her a well-deserved spot in the NWFL team within the season.
Despite her younger age, Alani Yuksekova brings precious worldwide joy to Spor. She first represented Nigeria at the juvenile level with the Falconets (U-20), organizing her strategic zone on the continental stage.
