Nigerian Afrobeats recording artist David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has publicly asserted his dominance in the local music industry, claiming that no other Nigerian musician possesses a deeper catalog of successful hit songs than he does.
The Grammy-nominated singer made the declaration during a recent livestream session with content creator Davrel. During the discussion regarding his extensive discography, Davido issued a formal challenge to his industry peers, proposing a high-stakes “hit-for-hit” musical battle.
To demonstrate his confidence in his career achievements, the artist pledged $1 million to any challenger who could match his record of commercially successful tracks.
