The Rivers State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Peters Nwagor, on Monday paid an official visit to Wigwe University as part of efforts to deepen cooperation between the state government and the institution in the area of education.
The visit highlighted the commitment of both parties to expanding access to quality education and ensuring that students benefiting from government scholarship programmes receive the support needed to complete their studies successfully.
Dr. Nwagor’s visit also reaffirmed the state’s interest in working closely with higher institutions to improve educational opportunities for young people in Rivers State.
