Delta Tops June FAAC Allocation as Lagos, Rivers Follow

Delta State got the money from the Federation Account Allocation Committee in June 2026. This was more than what Lagos and Rivers states got. The reason is that Delta State receives substantial revenue from oil and collects significant taxes.

The money that was shared in June 2026 showed that Delta State got ₦86 billion. Lagos got ₦74.7 billion. Rivers got ₦72.09 billion. These three states got the money out of all 36 states.

Delta State is one of the states in Nigeria that produces a lot of oil. That is why it gets a lot of money from the Federation Account Allocation Committee. Rivers State also got a lot of money because it produces a lot of oil.

When oil is produced in a state, that state gets 13 per cent of the money made from the oil. This is according to the rules of Nigeria. This rule helps states like Delta and Rivers to get money.

The money that was shared in June 2026 was more than usual because the country made money from oil. This helped Delta and Rivers states to get money.

Lagos State got a lot of money too. This was not because of oil. Lagos is a state economically. It is the place where many businesses are located. That is why it pays a lot of taxes.

The taxes that Lagos pays helped it to get the highest amount of money. The total amount of money that was shared was ₦4.5 trillion. This is one of the amounts of money that has been shared in recent months.

Many states and local governments got money because of this. Economic experts say that this money can be used to build roads and other projects. It can also be used to pay salaries and do important things.

These experts also say that the money from the Federation Account Allocation Committee can change. This is because the price of oil can go up or down. The amount of oil that is produced can also change. That is why states need to be careful with their money.

The money from oil and taxes is very important for Nigeria. This is shown by the figures from the Federation Account Allocation Committee.

Some reports also show that states are now making more of their money. They are using this money to build projects and pay salaries. Lagos State is very good at making its money. Ogun and Enugu states are also doing well. Enugu State is becoming an economic center in the South-East.
