Rivers United bolsters squad with goalkeeper Clinton Ezekiel acquisition Rivers United, currently on the signing spree ahead of 2026/27 season, have captured the signature of Clinton Andy Ezekiel.
The shot-stopper comes over from another Nigeria Premier Football League team, Bayelsa United, where he featured. Ezekiel has signed a one-year deal with the Port Harcourt team as preparations are on high gear for a long campaign with domestic and continental assignments.
The youngster makes one of the recent additions to Finidi George’s team who hopes to assemble a team that can contest for trophies in NPFL, and also do well in the CAF Champions League.
Ezekiel is arriving with good prospects following outstanding games he had at Bayelsa United. The goalkeeper is described by observers as having quick reflexes and the ability to command and manage the defense well, thus cementing his spot as a reliable shot-stopper in the NPFL. These attributes are not unnoticed by clubs. Riverside United reacted very fast by signing him into their squad strengthen plan.
