Omaka Anthony has officially left Rivers United because his contract is finished so he is not with the Nigeria Premier Football League team anymore.
The 26-year-old Omaka Anthony is leaving the club in Port Harcourt after one season. During this time Omaka Anthony played a part in the teams games in Nigeria and on the continent.
Omaka Anthony joined Rivers United after playing for ASVO FC in Benin Republic for a time. Coming back to the NPFL was a move for Omaka Anthony. At Rivers United Omaka Anthony quickly became a player the coaches could count on because he played well every time.
One of the things Omaka Anthony did at Rivers United was help the team get to the CAF Champions League group stage. Omaka Anthony was very good in midfield. Helped the team win difficult games. When Omaka Anthony played on the continent he showed everyone how good and experienced he is.
Even though Omaka Anthony was at the club for a short time he is leaving with happy memories and he is happy that he helped the team do something great.
Now that Omaka Anthony is gone Rivers United is getting ready for the season. Omaka Anthony is looking for his team. With experience playing in Nigeria and, on the continent Omaka Anthony will probably get offers from teams that want to make their squad better.
As Omaka Anthony starts a part of his career he hopes his next team will give him another chance to do even better than he did at Rivers United.
