Popular Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, proposed to his partner Elizabeth Amadou, known as Jarvis, on Wednesday night at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
Jarvis accepted the proposal. Videos of the romantic moment quickly spread across social media. The footage showed her at the beachfront luxury hotel, surrounded by warm lights and beautiful decorations.
This marks the couple’s second public proposal.
In December 2024, Peller went down on one knee at a restaurant in front of family and friends. At the time, Jarvis described the ring as a promise ring and said marriage was not yet on the cards. She later confirmed the engagement in July 2025 during an interview on Channels Television’s Rubbin’ Minds.
“He actually engaged me, shockingly,” she said.
The pair faced challenges after the first proposal. In December 2025, Peller crashed his car during an emotional TikTok livestream following a reported breakup.
Police in Lagos arrested him and later released him. Jarvis visited his mother and stated the relationship was “over for now.”
The couple has since reconciled.
In May, Peller spoke openly about their future and called Jarvis his family. Jarvis previously noted that Peller is the first man she introduced to her family. She also mentioned his younger age as a factor that slowed their marriage plans.
Fans in Nigeria and Ghana celebrated the latest proposal with widespread congratulations online.
The couple now appears stronger after their difficult period.
