Nollywood actor Stan Nze has gotten people talking online after opening up about how he views cheating, trust, and forgiveness in marriage.
The 37-year-old made the comments during a recent interview where he discussed modern relationships and the realities many couples face today.
According to him, love is still the strongest base a marriage can stand on, even when things get difficult. He explained that while cheating can deeply hurt a partner, he believes forgiveness is still possible when it comes with genuine remorse and a clear change in behaviour.
He also pointed out that, in his opinion, real love is not just about emotions or attraction, but about selflessness, maturity, and shared values.
“Love is enough, real love rooted in selflessness and kindness as taught in Christ, not fleeting attraction or emotion. Yes I can forgive cheating, but forgiveness must not become permission for repeated wrongdoing, as love requires wisdom and boundaries,” he stated.
After his remarks went public, reactions poured in from fans across social media. Some fans praised him for being honest and emotionally mature about relationships, saying his view reflects reality. Others, specifically men, strongly disagreed, insisting that cheating should be a hard line that shouldn’t be excused in marriage.
