‎NFF Congratulates Nigerian Title Winners in Europe

‎The President of the Nigeria Football Federation Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, MON is really pleased with Nigeria’s men and women players, who have won League and Cup titles in Europe. As a matter of fact, their accomplishments have not only delighted Nigeria’s supreme football-governing body, it also shows that these players are very good, consistent and have a lot of class.

‎”The Nigeria Football Federation is very happy with what these players have achieved in their clubs and leagues, it is great to see our players winning trophies everywhere, this means they are in shape to perform well in international matches and tournaments.

‎”We want to say congratulations to them. We wish them even greater success, we are telling them not to be satisfied with what they have achieved far but to keep working hard to achieve even more in their careers.”

‎Victor Osimhen, who plays for the Super Eagles won the Turkish Super Lig with his club, Galatasaray. He was one of the club’s best players and helped his team win the title with one match to spare.

‎Zaidu Sanusi, who is also a Super Eagles player won the league title with his club, FC Porto. His teammate, Terem Moffi was also part of the winning team after joining OG Nice.

‎Raphael Onyedika won the Belgian Pro League with Club Brugge, Kelechi Iheanacho was very important in helping Celtic FC win the League and Cup double in his season in Scotland.

‎Igoh Ogbu is also celebrating because his club, Slavia Prague won the Czech First League. Francis Uzohos club, Omonia Nicosia won the Cypriot First Division. Oluwasemilogo Ajayi is very happy because his club, Hull City won the English Championship play-off, this means they will play in the English Premiership again.

‎Christy Ucheibe, who plays for the Super Falcons won trophies in Portugal. She won the Taça de Portugal Feminina, Taça de Liga Feminina and the Super Taça de Portugal Feminina with SL Benfica.

‎Shukurat Oladipo, who plays for AS Roma in Italy was named the best defender in the Serie A Femminile as her club also won the title. On the other hand, Rinsola Babajide, who joined AS Roma from UD Tenerife is also very happy, she scored two goals in nine league appearances Helping her team win the title.
