U-17 WWCQ: Ruthless Flamingo Crushes Guinea Away

Nigerian Flamingo defeated their hosts Guinea 5-nil within the first leg of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup second round qualifying match in Abidjan on Saturday.

Captain Harmony Chidi scored a hat trick for Flamingo in the game.

Akeem Busari’s side got off to a good start as Chidi rounded the screen in the first minute. The forward doubled Nigeria’s lead on 13 minutes.

Oluwakemi Adegbuyi made it 3 nil for Flamingo in the thirty-seventh minute before Chidi completed her hat-trick 5 minutes before the break.

The flamingos made it five-nil with one extra goal through Mary Dunstan in the 56th minute. \

The reverse fixture will be preserved on Saturday the following week at the Remo Stars Stadium, Iken.
