Nigerian teenage striker David Temidayo Olorunfemi finished the pass for Finnish powerhouse HJK, sealing the encounter of two years with the club.
The 18-year-old veteran joined from the Triple 44 Football Academy in Nigeria, HJK is said to have steadied his signature after beating off interest from golf outfits in Sweden and Denmark
For the junior forward, Circulate represents a first-class step in his career and some other example of Nigerian skill making its way into European football.
Olorunfemi arrived in Helsinki last weekend and spent a few days settling into his new environment before officially putting pen to paper on his settlement, which includes an option for a further 12 months
Speaking after finishing the circulation, the teenager expressed excitement about the opportunity and his aims in membership.
“It feels amazing to be here. This is a very good opportunity for me,” Olorunfemi advised on the club’s official website.
“Striving towards domestic fulfillment and Euro tournaments is the form of project I’ve been looking for. I can’t wait to help the team in any way I can.”
HJK, one of the biggest and most hit clubs in Finland, are the usual competitors for domestic honors and European qualification, presenting Olorunfemi with a valuable platform to sustain his development
The transfer should be watched closely by Nigerian football fans, hoping the younger striker can adapt quickly and continue the growing fashion of home-grown skills while making an impact overseas.
Only 18 years old, Olorunfemi now faces the task of proving himself in a new country, a new league and a far bigger title.
