2027 AFCON Qualifiers: CAF Releases Full Fixtures‎

The Confederation of African Football which is also known as the CAF has come out with the schedule for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations also called the AFCON qualifiers. This schedule is really packed with games, and it has 12 groups.

‎The teams will play their qualifying games over three times. The first two sets of games which are called Matchday 1 and 2 will take place from September 21 to October 6 2026.

‎Then the next two sets of games which are Matchday 3 and 4 will happen from November 9 to 17. After that the next two sets of games which are Matchday 5 and 6 will be from March 22 to 30 2027.

‎When they did the draw for the groups it made some interesting matchups, for instance, the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers will have Ivory Coast play against Ghana in Group C, which is a big deal. The Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers also has some teams, like Morocco, Egypt, Senegal, Nigeria and Algeria and they all have a good chance of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
