Guinness stole the spotlight at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) as it mixed high fashion with exciting fan moments through its sponsorship of the Best Dressed Voters’ Choice Award.
The brand put fans in charge by hosting the vote on the Guinness Most Rated platform. Supporters picked their favourite celebrity looks from the glamorous night.
Reality TV stars Sultana Auduson Ibrahim and Faith Adewale emerged as the winners in the female and male categories. Each received a ₦1 million cash prize for their standout outfits.
The online vote recorded over 25,000 votes and sparked huge conversations across social media after the event.
Guinness also sponsored the Best Director award, which went to Akinola Davies Jr. for his work on My Father’s Shadow. The same film won the prestigious Best Movie award.
The brand kept the energy high with live performances from Nigerian stars Tiwa Savage, Fave, and BNXN. Guests enjoyed special experiences including the Guinness Black Carpet, a dedicated fan engagement lounge, and strong presence at the official after-party.
This big involvement shows Guinness’ strong focus on its fans and African creativity. By supporting these key cultural events, the brand continues to celebrate bold style and powerful storytelling that shape modern Africa.
