The organizers of The Quest Global Advancements Merits Awards have announced the official list of winners following what they described as a rigorous and transparent selection process.
In a statement issued to the media, the Head of Communications, Karo Wisdom, said the 2025 recipients were selected in recognition of their excellence, innovation, and measurable impact across different sectors and regions of the world.
The selection committee reviewed nominations from a wide range of industries including finance, aviation, governance, entertainment, philanthropy, and global development before arriving at the final list of honorees.
Karo Wisdom also revealed that the 2026 edition of the awards will take place in London, with plans for broader global participation and an expanded recognition platform.
Among the corporate organizations recognized are Nestlé Nigeria Plc, Paystack, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing and Ethiopian Airlines. Other companies honoured include Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Parallex Bank, AXA Mansard and DHL.
Wisdom explained that the awards are designed to recognize individuals, organizations, and institutions that have made significant contributions to global advancement and sustainable development.
International corporations such as Mastercard, Toyota, Alibaba, Stripe and Tesla were also listed among the awardees.
In the entertainment and culture category, the awards recognized global figures whose work has had significant cultural impact. Recipients includde Sabinus, Destiny Etiko, Taylor Swift Shah Rukh Khan, Ronaldo, Beyoncé, Lionel Messi, and Tom Cruise.
In the public sector and governance category, the awards recognized several global leaders including Governor Siminalayi Fubara, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Ibrahim Traoré, Sadiq Khan, Emmanuel Macron, Xi Jinping and Anthony Albanese. Diplomatic recognition was also given to His Excellency Richard Montgomery for his contributions to international diplomacy.
Philanthropic and humanitarian initiatives were also highlighted, with organizations such as Inner-City Mission for Children, Wellcome Trust and UNICEF Australia receiving awards. Prominent philanthropists including Tony Elumelu, Oprah Winfrey, and MacKenzie Scott were also honoured.
Religious and faith-based leadership was also acknowledged, with Chris Oyakhilome, Believers Loveworld, RCCG, Matthew Ashimolowo and Joel Osteen among the honorees.
