The Rivers State Police Command has said that the written examination for all candidates who applied for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police constables would commence on April 28th and end on April 30th, 2026.
In a statement on Saturday, April 25, the Police Public Relations Officer, Agabe Kaborlo Blessing, urged all candidates seeking enlistment as general duty and specialist cadres to visit the website from April 25 to print their examination invitation card.
The command revealed that the exercise was approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, and the Police Service Commission (PSC) and coordinated by the state Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga A. Adepoju.
According to the Police, the written examination will take place at the Faculty of Law, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
According to the command, “only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening are eligible. Qualified applicants are to visit www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from 25th April, 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which contains their specific date, time, and venue.”
Candidates were advised to go for the examination with a pen, NIN Slip (with a clear photograph), Printed Examination Invitation Card, White shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas.
The commissioner of police emphasized that the recruitment process was free of charge.
