Galatasaray are reportedly preparing for a major squad shake-up at the end of the season, with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen expected to play a key role in shaping the team’s future.
According to Turkish football expert Serdar Ali Çelikler, the club is ready to back Osimhen by bringing in players that suit his style and vision, as they look to build a new identity around the Super Eagles forward.
Speaking on Neo Spor, Çelikler suggested that a significant transformation is already underway, with several current players likely to leave as Galatasaray reset their squad.
“Osimhen’s team is being formed. The players he wants will be transferred,” he said, hinting at a shift in direction for the Turkish giants.
The report also indicates that a number of established names could depart at the end of the campaign, paving the way for a new-look squad built to maximise Osimhen’s strengths.
Meanwhile, the striker has returned to training after recovering from a hand injury sustained during a UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool. His return comes as a timely boost ahead of Galatasaray’s league fixture against Gençlerbirliği.
Osimhen has been a central figure for the club this season, and the latest developments suggest his influence could extend beyond the pitch as Galatasaray plan for the future.
