Nigerian gospel singer has spoken about a frightening health ordeal involving his wife, Marie Bliss, who suddenly developed a condition that left her battling severe pain and difficulty in breathing.
During a ministration at the Mountain Experience program in Abuja, he explained that the incident occurred while they were in the United Kingdom and came without warning.
He said medical investigations carried out at the hospital did not provide any clear diagnosis, despite several tests conducted by doctors.
“Me and my wife were in the UK, and all of a sudden we don’t know when the devil came.
” My wife became ill — one side of her body was in pain, her back also hurt, and before you know it, she could not breathe very well,” he said.
He added that the uncertainty of her condition escalated to the point where she had to be rushed for urgent medical attention, but even then, the cause remained unidentified.
“They were doing all sorts of tests and they did not know what was going on.
“I started crying. I had to quickly rush back to Nigeria for a program. On the flight back to London, the spirit of God spoke to me,” he said.
Moses further explained that he leaned heavily on prayer and faith during the crisis, consistently speaking hope over his wife’s condition until she began to recover. She was later discharged from the hospital.
“While on my way home, she called me that she had been discharged,” Moses added, testifying to the power of prayer in overcoming the mysterious ailment.
Moses Bliss met his wife, Marie Bliss, through a relationship that began in a fairly private and faith-centered way, away from public attention.
Over time, Moses eventually announced their engagement, which drew widespread attention from fans and the gospel music community.
The couple later formalized their union in marriage in a ceremony that reflected their faith and personal journey together.
Since then, they have continued to share glimpses of their life together, often emphasizing gratitude, spirituality, and companionship as the foundation of their relationship.
