The newly installed monarch of Ngeribarama community in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, HRH King Osoma Natrebo Enos Iwo, has called for strengthened unity and collaboration among stakeholders to confront the growing insecurity affecting communities across the state.
Speaking during his coronation, King Iwo urged government agencies, private companies, NGOs, and community leaders to work together to address youth restiveness, unemployment, and other root causes of insecurity.

He stressed that meaningful investment in local development particularly in agriculture, education, and skills acquisition remains essential to building safer, more resilient communities.
The monarch appealed for support toward fish-farming infrastructure, vocational training, and modern aquaculture practices, noting that the state’s rich aquatic resources could generate sustainable jobs if properly harnessed.
He emphasized the need for specialized credit facilities and training centres to boost fish processing, marketing, and environmental sustainability.
