Prof Mmom Resumes as Pioneer Vice Chancellor FUET

The Pioneer Vice Chancellor Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Saakpenwa, Professor Prince Chinedu Mmom, resumed duties on Thursday, 7th August 2025.

The Vice Chancellor, who was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Dr. Godspower, set the ground running by attending to key issues in a bid to ensure the resumption of academic activities in line with the mandate of President Bola Tinubu.

Professor Chinedu Mmom led an inspection tour of the University campus alongside the Pro‑Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Don Mon Baridam and the Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University (RSU), Professor Isaac Zeb-Obipi.

The visit, which came as part of final preparations for the commencement of academic activities, had members of the University governing council assessing facilities, infrastructure status, and site readiness.
