Haruna

Star boy Haruna Hadi, of Remo Stars, the reigning Remo Stars (NPFL) champions, has secured his future with the club by signing a new two-year contract. The Sky Blue Stars proudly announced the extension on Sunday, ensuring that Hadi will continue to don their colors until at least 2027.

“Haruna Hadi has committed his future to Remo Stars with a contract extension, a deal that will keep the talented midfielder at the club for an additional two years,” the Nigerian champions stated.

Hadi has established himself as a cornerstone of Daniel Ogunmodede’s squad, consistently delivering standout performances like a super-sub that have helped solidify Remo Stars’ greatness in the NPFL. His vision, work rate, and ability to control the tempo of matches have made him indispensable to the team’s success.

Currently, Hadi is with the Super Eagles B team, preparing for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), set to take place from August 2 to August 30, 2025.

The tournament, which showcases domestic league talent across the continent, will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Hadi’s inclusion in the national team camp is not a surprise, as it shows his growing reputation as one of Nigeria’s brightest footballing prospects.
