According to a statement from NOA, led by Director General Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the former president left a lasting impact on Nigeria’s politics and values.

NOA will be watching to make sure all public institutions follow this order. The agency is also asking private organizations and individuals to join in this national mourning as a way to remember the former president’s contributions.

”We join millions of Nigerians in mourning the passing of Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR”

”This moment of national loss calls for reflection and recognition of a man who served Nigeria with conviction, courage, and a deep commitment to integrity.”
