Nigerian rapper, actor, and social activist Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz, has once again voiced his discontent with the current administration, offering a scathing one-word assessment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.
During a recent interview with Soundcity FM, the “Wehdone Sir” hitmaker was asked a direct question: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu—what comes to your mind when you hear his name?” Without hesitation, Falz responded, “Hardship. No elaboration.”
His terse reply underscores the growing frustration among many Nigerians over economic difficulties, including rising inflation, fuel subsidy removal, and a weakening naira.
This is not the first time Falz has publicly criticized Tinubu’s government. Just last month, in an appearance on Arise TV, the outspoken artist declared that Nigeria has “retrogressed” under the current administration.

He lamented the lack of visible progress and urged the President to use his remaining two years in office to address the nation’s pressing challenges.
Falz, known for using his music and platform to advocate for social justice, has been a consistent critic of government policies he perceives as detrimental to ordinary Nigerians.
His latest remarks have sparked renewed discussions online, with many citizens echoing his sentiments while others defend the administration’s reforms.
As economic conditions remain a major concern for Nigerians, Falz’s blunt commentary reflects a broader sentiment of disillusionment among the youth and working-class citizens awaiting tangible improvements.
