Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Tems (real name Temilade Openiyi) is set to make a historic appearance as one of the headlining performers at the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup Final halftime show. The groundbreaking event, announced by FIFA on June 9, 2025, will also feature global superstars Doja Cat and J Balvin in a high-energy musical spectacle.
Scheduled for July 13 at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, the halftime show is being produced by Global Citizen and creatively directed by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Fans worldwide will be able to stream the performance live and for free on DAZN.com.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Tems shared, “We’ll bring the world together to celebrate football and the power of music. It’s also a chance to help children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.” The initiative aims to raise $100 million to provide quality education and football opportunities for underprivileged youth.
