Jay Jay Okocha: “You Wouldn’t Want Your Son To Be Like Caragher”

Some time ago Jamie Caragher was heard on live TV saying that AFCON is not a big competition and it doesn't add much value to a players push to win the much coveted ballon d'or award.

It generated a wide spread criticism from fans all over the world as many even the white football fans didn’t take kindly to his statement at such a time and age.

Some questioned the grounds on which he stood to make such a statement, seeing that his career was not one that many would dream to have because there was nothing glorious about it, coupled with the fact that he was an average player who only got into certain teams based on availability and not on sheer talent or merit.

Today Jay Jay Okocha was heard speaking on the matter and just like many football fans and footballers out there he made his mind clear on what he thinks about Charagher as a professional and human.

What are your thoughts as a football lover, is Caragher right about the AFON or was Okocha too hard on him?
