2Baba Publicly Declares Love for Hon. Natasha Osawaru, Engages Her

Amid the divorce controversy, speculations surfaced linking 2Baba to Honorable Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.

In a video circulating on social media, 2Baba addressed the speculations, confirming his admiration for Natasha and expressing his desire to marry her. He emphasized that Natasha had no involvement in his marital issues with Annie, including their divorce.

In January 2025, Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, announced his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia. He later posted on Instagram stating that they had been separated for a while and had filed for divorce. He mentioned plans to release a statement to share his side of the story, emphasizing his love for his supporters.

Shortly after the announcement, 2Baba claimed that his Instagram account had been hacked and that efforts were underway to regain control. However, in a subsequent video, he clarified that his account was not hacked and confirmed the separation, stating, “Nobody hacked my account. Na me talk wetin I want talk.”

Following these events, 2Baba deleted all posts and videos related to the divorce from his Instagram account, leaving fans and the public speculating about the current status of their relationship.

Currently, 2Baba has officially proposed to his new partner, Natasha.

A viral video circulating on social media captured the heartfelt moment, with onlookers cheering as the singer popped the question.

The proposal took place less than 24 hours after 2Baba officially disclosed his plans to marry Osawaru.
