The political battle between the Rivers State governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, might soon be over.
This speculation is coming as the three-member panel appointed by the Court of Appeal in Abuja, prepares to sit on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
The panel was established to bring the political disputes in Rivers to end by providing an expedited resolution to the crisis.

They are also to tackle cases that involve political figures and factions within the state.
According to reports, among the appeals set to be heard is one filled by the Rivers State government and the Oko-Jumbo led Rivers State House of Assembly. Also to be heard is the alleged defection of 27 lawmakers loyal to the FCT Minister, from the PDP to the APC.
