Kellyrae wins Big Brother Naija

Kellyrae, whose real name is Kingsley Oritsetimeyin Sule, emerged as the triumphant winner of the 2024 Big Brother Naija reality TV show’s “No Loose Guard” edition on Sunday night. The exciting announcement was made by renowned host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during the highly anticipated grand finale held in Lagos.

Hailing from Delta State, Kellyrae participated in the competition alongside his wife Kassia as the dynamic duo “Double Kay.” They successfully navigated the challenges of the show, ultimately securing Kellyrae’s spot among the top eight finalists.

The tense competition saw Kellyrae competing against formidable contestants, including Anita, Nelly, Onyeka, Ozee, Sooj, Victoria, and Wanni. In the end, Kellyrae’s captivating personality, strategic gameplay, and overwhelming fan support earned him the coveted title.

This remarkable victory marks a significant milestone in Kellyrae’s career, catapulting him to national fame and securing his place in the BBNaija hall of fame.

Kellyrae took home the coveted title of Big Brother Naija Season 9’s “No Loose Guard” edition, outshining fellow finalists Wanni and Onyeka. In a thrilling conclusion, Kellyrae secured the top spot, with Wanni claiming second place and Onyeka finishing third.

Notably, Kellyrae’s journey to victory was shared with his wife, Kassia, who joined him in the competition as part of the “Double Kay” duo. Although Kassia was evicted just shy of the finale, in the penultimate week, Kellyrae persevered, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination.

Kellyrae’s triumph marks a significant milestone, solidifying his position as a reality TV sensation and potentially paving the way for future opportunities.

Big Brother Naija has a rich history of thrilling seasons, with eight winners emerging since its inception. Here’s a brief rundown of the show’s past champions:

Season 1 (2006): Katung Aduwak, then 38, took home the inaugural title.

Season 2 (2017): Efe Ejeba reigned supreme in the “See Gobe” edition, outshining notable housemates like Bisola, Kemen, and TBoss.

Season 3 (2018): Miracle emerged victorious in “Double Wahala,” claiming the top spot.

Season 4 (2019): Mercy Eke, aka Lambo, made history as the first female winner, edging out strong contenders Tacha, Mike, and Omashola.

Season 5 (2020): Laycon secured a prize package worth N85 million, cementing his position as a reality TV sensation.

Season 6 (2021): Hazel Oyeze “Whitemoney” Onou claimed the championship, taking home ₦90 million in prizes.

Season 7 (2022): Ijeoma Josephina “Phyna” Otabor walked away with a record-breaking 100 million naira.

Season 8 (2023): Ilebaye Odiniya triumphed, securing a staggering 120 million naira prize.

Each season has brought unique drama, excitement, and memorable contestants, solidifying Big Brother Naija’s status as Nigeria’s premier reality TV show.

Kellyrae entered the BBNaija house on Sunday, 28 July alongside 27 other housemates, with a unique twist—contestants were paired up and competed as dynamic duos. Week after week, housemates were tested on their mental, physical, and emotional strengths, leading to countless moments of tension, joy, and heartbreak but Kellyrae, with his talent, charm, and strategic prowess, stood out.

Kellyrae, whose real name is Kingsley Sule, is a Nigerian singer with a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Delta State University.

Throughout the competition, Kellyrae’s journey was filled with highs and lows, but his resilience paid off when he claimed the grand prize and earned the title of BBNaija Season 9 champion. Alongside him, Wanni, Victoria, and Onyeka stood as finalists, giving the show one of its most thrilling conclusions.
