A seasoned Nigerian journalist, Oladimeji Fabiyi has blamed the increased state of insecurity in Nigeria on the failure of the government to lead dialogue and peace talks with aggrieved agitators and perpetrators of insecurity.

Fabiyi who disclosed this in an interview with our correspondent via zoom added that the killing of some reputable citizens in south-east has a political undertone.

“The killing on traditional rulers who were believed to gather at a meeting in IMO state is undoubtedly political, there is a clear political undertone following those killings, the handwriting on the wall is overwhelming.

“But as journalists, the watchdog of the society, we shall continue to report exactly what we see”

Also, marking one year memorial for a peaceful END SARS protest by Nigerian youths which led to the death and arrest of some youth, OLADIMEJI FABIYI, said if the government were smart they would have supported the youths END SARS peaceful protest and that would have won them a lorel before the international community.
