Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers and the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council for the Edo State Governorship Election on Tuesday responded to threats by the Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, that he will be isolated during the September 2020 gubernatorial election and will only be released when the election is over.
Ganduje, who leads the APC campaign council had on Monday boasted that Wike will be isolated during the elections.

Wike said at the inauguration of the PDP campaign council, in Abuja that Ganduje’s statement has exposed the plot by the ruling party to take undue advantage of security agents.
He said the Kano State Governor was not his match saying “Between me and a man who has been caught pocketing dollars, who deserves to be isolated?”
