PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus leads ‘Save The Judiciary Protest’ in Abuja

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are protesting right now in Abuja at Legacy house Maitama.

The protest which is led by the PDP heavyweights are in demand that the chief justice of the federation, Tanko Mohammed be sacked.

Those on the street protesting include the national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus; former vice-presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi.

Also present in the protest are Senator Dino Melaye, Minority Leader of the Senate, Enyinnaya Abaribe, former Imo State Governor, Achike Udenwa, former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka among others.

This protest follows the Supreme court’s judgement last week that led to the sacking of the eight months PDP administration in Imo State.

Some of the inscriptions on their placards include: “it is not just about Ihedioha, let’s save our Judiciary”. Tanko must go”.

Recall that yesterday, there were protests across the PDP states in the country making the same demands.

Thousands of Imo residents were seen on the streets of Owerri wailing for the injustice done to them by the Supreme Court.
