AGBOMA ESOM-IBE while speaking to the students urged them to be bold and courageous to speak against sexual abuse.

She also called for an end to all forms of abuses on the girl child stating that the men should love and protect the girl child instead of abusing them.

Some of the students who participated in the awareness campaign commended the Association of Lady Pharmacists for the gesture.

They described the lectures they received as an eye opener that will help in their journey in life.

The theme of 2019 International Day of the Girl Child is ”GirlForce: Unscripted and unstoppable”

Our correspondent reports that the Association of Lady Pharmacists also distributed sanitary pads to the students during the sensitization programme at Holy Rosary College.
