Continued stay of Abe in APC is dangerous – Rivers APC chieftain says

A self-styled chieftain of the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has called on the party’s National Working Committee to suspend Senator Magnus Abe.

Eze said Abe’s suspension would ensure peace and unity returns to the party which has been held down by in-fighting between the camps of the senator and that of the minister of transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi.

Eze accused Abe of personal attacks on the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, which he alleged were aimed at destroying the party at the national level, after dismantling the APC’s structure in the state.

He said that the immediate past senator representing Rivers South-East senatorial district in the National Assembly has turned the heat on the National Working Committee of the party, adding that Abe has continued to make moves to ensure that the APC never makes progress.

“Abe’s mission to destroy the APC in the state and to dismantle the party at the national level. The continued presence of the former senator and his followers in the party is dangerous. It is left to the national leadership to do the needful by expelling Abe so as not to weaken APC ahead of 2023.”
