Rivers State ministry of education resumes automation of its activities.

Rivers State ministry of education says it is now ready to issue thousands of backlog of basic education certificate starting from the 10years ago to bonafide owners.

The ministry said the provision of education in the state, JSS Basic Examination Registration is now done Online -making it easy to get result, check result and ensure effective Documentation/Data management.

It noted that the online registration of candidates for BECE increases the ease of conducting BECE and getting BECE certificates for parents and students adding that as at today, 64,930 candidates have been registered online for the 2018/2019 BECE.

The ministry also said it has undergone rapid and massive educational infrastructural built up in the past four years, to deliver on accessible and affordable, quality education.

It said such built-up requires solid institutional framework to sustain the huge infrastructural investment in education.

This followed the introduction of a timely policy guideline that spells out the roles and responsibilities for every department, Units and desk officers of Rivers State ministry of education for a better understanding the structures and system of ministry of education is intended to strengthen the institutional framework of the ministry for better and quality service delivery to all and sundry. This has never been before.

Hon. Tamunosisi gogo jaja, the state commissioner for education said that the state ministry of education now wears new, valuable, exciting and productive look set to deliver on the New Rivers Vision of Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Woke. CON.
