Belema Oil donates 30 blocks of flats to Army

Belemaoil Producing Limited, an indigenous oil firm, has constructed 30 flats for the military.

This, the company said was to ameliorate accommodation problems facing Nigerian soldiers and their families in the Niger Delta.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Yusuf Buratai who was represented by the Commander, Training and Doctrine Command at the Army Headquarters Abuja, Major General A.A Salihu, noted that the Army is also appreciative of the scholarship given by Belemaoil to the children of deceased soldiers and those who are maimed in active service in defence of the country.

The Director, Production and Engineering of Belemaoil Producing Limited, Mufaa Welsh, who represented the Founder/President of the company Jack-Rich Tein Jnr said the gesture was in appreciation of efforts of the military in securing its oil facilities and providing security along the waterways within its corridors of operation.
