The last may not have been heard of the nationwide APC ward Congresses as violence has marred the exercise in different parts of the country.
APC ward Chairmanship candidate, Mr. Jeremiah Oghoveta of APC Ward 10 (Jeremi III) in Ughelli South have been assassinated on Saturday with loyalists pointing accusing fingers to fellow party members.
TPCN gathered that Mr. Jeremiah, a candidate for the 5th May Congress was shot just outside of his home early on Saturday.
Although the ward Congress went on as scheduled, the police division in Ughelli is said to be investigating the murder incident.
