Amanyanabo of Opobo, King Dandeson D. Jaja, Reportedly Dead

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of His Majesty, King (Dr.) Dandeson Douglas Jaja, Jeki V, the revered traditional ruler of the Opobo Kingdom. According to sources close to the palace, King Jaja succumbed to a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and service to his people.

King Jeki V had been on the throne since his coronation on January 3, 2004, guiding his people with wisdom and vision. During his reign, he worked tirelessly to promote the development and well-being of the Opobo Kingdom, earning the respect and admiration of his subjects and peers alike.
