Super Falcons Unmoved in the Latest FIFA Rankings

Super Falcons

Nigeria National Senior Women’s football team, Super Falcons, has remained in 36th position in the latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking.

The new ranking, which was made public on FIFA’s official website, saw Justine Madugu’s side also retain the number one position in Africa.

The only movement for the Super Falcons has been in their points tallies, as they have steadily gained from 1,616 in March 2024 to 1,623 in June 2025.

The nine-time African champions are still clearly ahead of South Africa (54th) in second place on the continent.

Morocco (60th in the world), Cameroon (64th), and Zambia (65th) complete the African top five.

On the world stage, the United States of America is on top, followed by Spain, Germany, Brazil, and England.

The next edition of the FIFA Women’s World Ranking will be published on 7 August 2025.
