Omoni Oboli Slams GH TV Stations for Airing Her Movies Illegally

Renowned Nigerian actress, Omoni Oboli, has voiced her frustration over the unauthorized broadcast of her films by television stations in Ghana. Making a post on Instagram, she criticized these stations for airing her movies without obtaining the necessary licenses.

In her post, Oboli also called out the Ghana National Film Authority, accusing it of failing to address the issue decisively. She questioned the effectiveness of the regulatory body and warned that she would pursue legal action against the offending stations.

Highlighting the hard work and dedication involved in film production, the actress expressed her determination to seek justice.

“I love my Ghanaian besties, colleagues, and friends, but you see those TV stations in Ghana, I’m coming for you! The guts to show my movies without licensing! If dem no arrest one of una, you won’t learn! Watch out! Coming for every one of you!”

Oboli further emphasized the sacrifices filmmakers make, including sleepless nights, and insisted that those responsible for the unauthorized broadcasts would be held accountable.

“You have no idea how much work goes into these projects. The sleepless nights I have! I’m coming for it all! You will pay for every one of my movies you have shown without permission! In 2025, you don’t understand that’s IP theft?!!!”

She also took a jab at the Ghanaian television regulatory system, suggesting its inefficiency but making it clear that this would not deter her pursuit of justice.

“Maybe you don’t have a television authority in Ghana, but that is not my concern! Coming for you all! Clowns! Thanks to my Ghanaian besties for always sending me screenshots.”
