Port Harcourt Artiste Shuts Down, The Experience

Port Harcourt-based multi-talented gospel artist prinx Emmanuel rendered a powerful performance at the just concluded gospel music show, The Experience.

The highly anticipated Experience 19, an annual international gospel concert, was a resounding success this year, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of thousands of worshippers worldwide. Held at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, the concert took place from Friday evening to the early hours of Saturday, creating a spiritual atmosphere that transcended borders and time zones.

Themed “Jesus Wins,” the concert was a powerful celebration of faith, unity, and worship, bringing together a diverse crowd of believers from all walks of life. The event featured an impressive lineup of renowned gospel ministers, including Travis Greene, Chevelle Franklyn, Chee, Israel Houghton, Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Mercy Chinwo, Sinach, Frank Edwards, Prinx Emmanuel, Mr. M & Revelation, Moses Bliss, and Micah Stampley, among others.

Through their inspiring performances and heartfelt worship, these gospel ministers led the congregation in a sacrifice of praise to the Almighty, creating an electric atmosphere that was both uplifting and transformative. As the thousands of worshippers sang, danced, and prayed together, Experience 19 became a testament to the power of faith and the universal language of worship. The concert was a truly unforgettable experience, one that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who attended.

The TBS arena was transformed into a vibrant space of praise and worship as first-time performers Bidemi Olaoba and Ebuka Songs, along with the anointed ministration of Adeyinka Alaseyori, took to the stage. The atmosphere was electric, filled with an overwhelming sense of reverence, joy, and anticipation, as attendees experienced the life-changing power of music, prayer, and collective worship.

The event, which has become a cornerstone of Nigeria’s gospel music scene, attracted a diverse crowd of dignitaries, celebrities, and worshippers from all walks of life. Notable attendees included a representative of President Bola Tinubu, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Nigerian businesswoman and philanthropist Chief Folorunso Alakija, and Nollywood actresses Joke Silva and Shaffy Bello. Renowned comedians AY, Akpororo, and Forever also graced the occasion with their presence.

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the convener of The Experience, emphasized the event’s mission to showcase the unifying power of gospel music, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to proclaim the greatness of Jesus and celebrate His victory. He noted that the event serves as a testament to the transformative power of worship and music to unite people across cultures, denominations, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Co-convener Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin revealed that this year’s event incurred significantly higher costs, approximately eight times more than in previous years. Despite the increased expenses, the organizers remained committed to their vision of fostering a better society and expressing gratitude to God for His goodness.

Experience 19 reinforced its reputation as a premier gospel concert, providing a platform for attendees to unite in praise, worship, and reflection. As thousands of worshippers raised their voices and hearts in unison, the event highlighted the triumphant power of Jesus in the lives of believers, bringing hope, healing, and strength to all in attendance. The concert served as a powerful reminder of the impact that collective worship and music can have on individuals and communities, inspiring a sense of unity, purpose, and devotion among all who participated.
