Popular Skitmaker Ijoba Lande Denies BBL Surgery Rumors About Aunty Ramota

Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, widely known as Ijoba Lande and recognized as Aunty Ramota’s “movie husband,” has clarified that female comedian Ramota Adetu, popularly referred to as Aunty Ramota, did not undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery, contrary to widespread reports.

This clarification comes after blogger Tosin Silverdam claimed on Instagram that Aunty Ramota had a BBL procedure on Saturday at a hospital in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, which allegedly led to complications and a coma.

Ijoba Lande explained that the viral video showing Aunty Ramota purportedly undergoing a BBL was staged for “content,” and reassured that she is not in a coma.

In a video posted on Monday, Ijoba Lande said that some individuals close to Aunty Ramota confirmed the BBL was not genuine. Addressing the issue on his TikTok handle, Lande expressed his disappointment: “I’m disappointed in Dare and Ebute Council over what happened to Ramota; even you, Aboki, deny knowledge of what happened. I called you to beg if it was a prank or content but you said it was real. I called Dare and Ebute Council, and Aunty Lara, but they refused to pick up their calls. I later got to know that Aunty Lara traveled.”

Ijoba Lande emphasized once more that the entire situation was for content creation and urged everyone to remain calm, as he reiterated that Aunty Ramota is not in a coma. He continued, “Nigerians, Aunty Ramota is not in a coma; initially, I thought it was content but when I saw them carrying her on a stretcher, that was when I knew. I called Aunty Lara’s mother; she didn’t pick up, then I sent a voice note; that was when she told me that it was not real. She informed me that Aunty Ramota is not in Lagos and that they went to Ede or someplace.”
