The All Progressives Congress in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State has vowed to ensure that Senator Magnus Abe loses the forthcoming APC governorship primary.
The former National Assembly lawmaker had at a political gathering in his LGA declared his interest to contest for governor on the platform of the APC.
Speaking with our correspondent, one of the leaders of the party in Ahoada West, Ajasin Vincent said Abe will be humiliated in defeat, the same way his ally, Worgu Boms was defeated at the just concluded national convention.
“The format of the state APC primary will be indirect primary.
“95 percent of the delegates that will vote at the primary are loyal to the Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi.
“Abe will not get up to 20 votes at the guber primary.
“Rather than looking for ways to reconcile with his master, Amaechi, he (Abe) was busy drumming supports for former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu.
“Let’s see how he (Abe) will win APC primary in the state,” Vincent said.
